We had been contacted by a lady who was convinced her estranged husband was cohabitating and had left her for yet another woman. She wanted proof of this and also wanted to discover out exactly where he was living
Our client told us that when her husband very first left he was extremely sad and apologetic as he felt that soon after 26 years of marriage that they had grown apart and he didn’t feel he loved her any much more. He said he required time apart and didn't wish to tell her exactly where he was going. He took a significant amount of funds out of their joint bank account which he stated he required to set himself up in a new location to live.
While waiting for her husband to return their relationship started to go from amicable to acrimonious. He stopped answering her calls and paid less cash into their bank account. Our client was confused by this and she felt this was really strange behaviour for him and totally out of character. A friend of hers suggested that he might have an additional woman as a similar factor had happened to her. We carried out a session of surveillance on her husband and discovered the address he was living at and that there was an additional woman living there. We then looked into the address and it was registered in his name and the woman he was living with. They had purchased the property together just following he had left our client.
We were able to present our client with all the evidence she necessary to divorce her husband for adultery. Our client she stated that following the initial shock it all became clear and that her husband had possibly been getting an affair with this woman for many years. She is now prepared to move on with her new life.
